Hmm the time has come for me to address my flailing mana pool. If we are gonna start raiding a bit more, i gotta stay viable for the whole boss fight. Now spamming starfire is more mana efficient, but fuk that! Its time to lose a bit of PvP capability and get this mana pool cranking alot. So i can keep a bit of the Boom in Boomkin.
Mostly from the seriously geared druids around the place the key is simply to stock up well. Hit up felwood for demonic runes etc, lots of pots, oils, other assorting things drink/eat/rub (get away from me cece). They say moonkin is not a class for an alt ... way too intensive for prep etc. Bleh ... im destined to farm forever!
I am quite torn as to whether NS is worth it over the trees. So long as the trees dont killed they do a fair amount of dmg. Is it worth trading the trees and some other +dmg support for NS? I dont think so. I'll respc tonight to include some more mana regen talents and lose a bit of other nice things, but we always seem to have enough pallys atm for me not to worry too much about taking on the threat reduction talents :D That's a possiblilty if needs be but ill lose some dps as a result of getting my threat under control. |

Intensity is a must have talent for pve. Not only that, but it's actually getting a buff in the 2.3 patch to something like 30% at it's highest.
NS is not important really, you can live easily without it. Keep the trees.
I think your threat is OK - you can usually keep it under control, and I can generally hold agro well, apart from maybe a couple of times per raid. But those times you are the only one to die - if you're ok with that, no need for threat reduction :)
Imp Fairie Fire is also a raid must - that +3% to hit for ranged and melee is a godsend. |
