Oh yessireee,
I am one happy hunter:
- 3.0s Aimed Shot with MS
- No deadzone, ranged attacks minimum range reduced to 5 yards
- Dispell on arcane shot
- Insta-sleep Wyvern sting
- Scaling of Stings and Trap dmg from AP! (Semi useful dots)
- Resiliance on DoTs
Huge changes imo. Actually made duelling enjoyable. Keen to try out some 2v2 arenas, where I'll probably just get back in my box :p
Two patches in a row with massive buffs to hunters. Show's how badly we needed the buffs I guess. I can see cries for nerf coming our way soon though. |

Blizzard fails at balance
PS: The healing to +dmg change was a little over the top - i'm sporting 600+dmg in 1400 heal gear. |

Guess that makes us just about even im 950 dmg with 1000heals :/ |

i don't understand - how is 600 +dmg over the top?
As with resto shamans, even though we got the equivalent spell dmg, untalented, we're slower and don't crit as often. I think it worked outs fair enough
But yeah I'm luving this 20% Lighting Overload business. Sure they nerfed my lighting spell dmg overall by a bit (say a 100-200dmg - which can translate to about 300ish per crit) but every 5 hits, i get a double shot (which can also crit, mana free, and threat-less)
But i got in return
* free 609 mana per minute (water shield)
* 50 MP5 mana spring totem (untalented, up from 30 MP5 - talent, it gets to 65ish MP5)
* NEVER ENDING FROST SHOCKS BIATCH!
I guess shamans are so used to getting hit with the nerf bat, it's a change not getting hit so hard for once, and getting buffed a lil too!
I did a lil experimenting with the new water shield + mana spring, and basically even when totally OOM, i can still cast rank 4 healing wave continuously - which equals to a 1.5k heal with my gear :) |

hay guys
We got the royal ramming up the ring gear again (Mages)
All we got was a a few minor changes and a meal table spell ... whoopee
The best thing they did was restore back the penaly they put in place for imp fireball.
The second best was changing evoc to 15% per 2 sec instead of being spirit based this gives 60% back instead of about 45%.
Third the mana regen during combat skill went for max 15% to now 30% so you rein more mana during casting.
Lastly a few spells (the protection ones) had a dam co-efficient added but of course they reduced the base so it didn't change too much bloody typical.
Blizz hates mages this class is officaly useless were nothing but a second rate damage dealer with bugger all health and no armour If it wasn't for sheep you wouldn't have one.

sneh, at least mortal strike doesn't half your mana gem while active.
oh, and our hellfire got nerfed 5 ways to sunday. It no longer stops flag captures and the animation looks sissy now too. Still kills us though. They didn't get that wrong :P |

Geh, your Healthstone didnt only gain 100 health when BC was launched.
Manastone jumped 100 mana
Healthstone jumped like 1200hp |
