Hey guys, heres the stats for the ZA run last night. Stupid me only remembered to turn it on when we started Lynx boss
Dps last night was the highest I'd seen us do in ZA for a long time.
Averaging about 3.8-4.2k raid dps on most bosses. Up to 4.5k when we were burning em down and had all the fire elementals out.

Man of the match has to go to Cytherea. First time I've run with him/her and I'm highly impressed. Beat Major by 1% on Bear. lol. Which is saying alot, cos Major/Nos/Stella usually put out some serious dps!
Well done! |

Having Stella in the group was INSANE. Mana barely moved on normal trash pulls... only moved when things got bad, and the only times I potted were when Stella was dead lol.
<3 Shadow priests! |

| QQ i just want to curl up and cry!! my dps is so low, only 500+ at times. i am stil kinda a noob lock and am working on putting out max dps while managing my threat. i think i wil have to respec a few times to fine tune my spec and try to get the most out of my gear. i never thought that locks were meant to top the dps charts, but when i see pvp hunters beat me I QQ!!! time to go back to lock school i think.... |

Wtf? Ever seen a destruction lock in full raid gear next to a shadowpriest ... 8k shadowbolts every 2 secs ... Locks should pwn the dmg charts in comparible gear to their competition. The ones that don't are just being nubbity  |

Yaaha, I've seen WWS locks of end game destro locks that sustain 3k+ DPS!
Thy load up on the crit, dmg and haste gear and those guys jsut pwn! Pretty much the top dps class atm.
I'm sure cece has a cry about it everynight in his sleep. |

| meh, i have never specced into the destro tree, TBH i always thought u needed the gear to support it. and bash, if i had full end game raid gear, i prob could top the charts, but i am in kara gear and FSW set, not exactly end game raiding gear. Raid buffed i can reach almost 1.2k +shad dmg, my hit is at 90 and my critis (who cares). as affliction i find the dmg output slow but steady, perhaps i need to relearn my class.. |

Nah zul, for your gear level you're doing the right thing, afflic is definately the way to go. Anyways, what are you complaining about. Looking at the WWS logs, you came in 3rd after Nos and Cytherea on Halazzi. 18% is pretty schmick DPS for a relatively new lock on the scene mate. :D
I would say that it's probably not till you hit beyond T5 with some T6 gear that destro even becomes worthwhile. Afflic DPS kinda stop scaling very much there. I noticed that they start stacking spell haste and loads of crit in the warlock T6 set, so that must be the direction that blizz intended for locks to go.
sorta the same reason that I've respec'd Wilbow back to MM or BM for the meantime. SV is great fun, but for the gear available at my current level, it can't compete with BM =(
T6 on the other hand changes all that =) |

Dont need T6 for destro. I've seen ZA/T5 destro locks rip it up. At the very least they crap all over the moonkin. Is there no love for the space chicken in this cruel world ...
brb ... going to level my priest :o |

bash i got reading a bit last night, and everyone was kinda saying that u needed 16%hit (202) rating, 30%crit and over 1k shad dmg for destro to be viable raid spec. i think i know where i lost my dps anyway, since my last respec ( 2 months ago) i have been using rank 1 unstable affliction, and rank1 syphon life. both those dots i keep up all the time, by training the proper rank, i should see some improvement.
as far as 8k SB's go, i am a ways off that. maybe one day i wil take gawk on a raiding holiday, and collect some gear, but for now i am happy as affliction, seems to suit my play style anyway. |
