yes very interesting stats

its odd actually - i noticed very nice DPS last night, yet the stats say some odd things

- bubble as Top DPS was surprising, and drac being below Alec (tank) DPS was odd
- Good to see Andarxs lifting his game. However NEITHER mage should be below a ret pally on DPS
- no idea what Wellhard was doing.... must have been an off night....
- I'll have a chat with Ushi & Sham about lifting their game

on a side note - i'm claiming Alec's healing as my earth shield! (sure i'm overhealing like a mofo, but we lived most of the time)

The stats do seem strange, but they match the results recorded by Recount as well. If you check the boss fights Bubble was usually 2nd. Lolret pwns trash I guess.

the weird thing was - DPS felt strong - mobs were dying fast, bosses were going smoothly, but DPS stats are low?

no one broke 1000 DPS - highest was det + Sham on mid 700's....

I mean curator went down to 40% (if not 30%) first evocate which ain't so bad...

Perhaps its because we only had 2 healers + our OT was actually Ret spec, is why we went so fast. We might have been low on DPS, but 2 extra DPS'ers made a big diff? (i.e. normally feral druid OT & 3 healers)

Yeh we usually have 3 healers... so the 1 extra scrub DPSer made the difference.

Imagine if we only had 1 healer??? :twisted:

Shit was going down fairly fast however I was speaking to Cy who mentioned they cleared Kara except for NB and they started a touch after us. So we could've been faster obviously but then the raid nazi had a fairly casual approach last night I noticed. In love Mojo?

Yeh I was quite literally the suxxor last night, I blame Bubble-boy. Terrible form on trash, spent half the Moroes fight trying to rip the trap target from the frikkin' pally's who salved me and Drac making it next to impossible to get any threat (shut-up Bubble) then suffered a miserable death on the first sacrifice on Illhoof cos neither of you healbots sent some love my way! :cry: The only bright light was Curator but then I was bolt tanking so I was always going to own that fight.

I think it's time for the Ron Jeremy of the Hunter community to hang up his balls and call time. Pally heal-bot here I come, I've always wondered what it's like to be a metro-sexual like Bubble anyway.

those stats scream OP PALLY!!! haha, but no1 should be complaining, if the tank can put out some decent dmg, then it takes the load of any noob dpsers, and 2 healers should be enough to heal te whole instance, including bane and spite, just depends on the tanks gear.
o no... i just read the full WWS report... u guys wiped on R&J?? and aran?? ouch. we should be better than that these days, it is only kara, piss easy fights and 80% of us are over geared for it. Kara should be on 100% farm and we should clear it in 1 session. o well, i guess u were missing Gawks lock power :)

sorry i havnt been around much latley, i so want to raid kara for BoJ, but my computer is a bane in my life atm!!! i cant seem to fix it, even with the motherboard having been changed, new vid card, full re-install of XP etc... no luck, stil get the dreaded BSOD!!! I guess i will log on on my old computer til i can fix my other one. i would rather play at 10FPS all night long, then play for for no longer than 30 mins b4 the BSOD appears...

Well, I'm not entirely surpised that bubble did good dps. I remeber whenever alec was lotret, he would pretty consistently be #1 or #2 on dps. And easily just below the MT on threat. Its all gear and experience. (Also pallys dont have to CC)

The thing that I have found most disconcerting with the WWS reports is not the dps but rather the % time in combat. The DPS is acceptable considering the gear, but its the total time in combat which is letting the damage done down imo.

Take Curator for example. Aside from Wellhard and bubble, the rest of the dps classes were doing damage less than 90% of the time which is just not good. (Ushi was doin dmg 88% of the time, but his dps was jsut plain low cos of gear :p)
Aran and Illhoof tell similar stories with many dps spots only doing dmg 74-80% of the time. (Wellhard was shocking on Illhoof. 26% Got DC maybe?)

I look at the reports on boss fights and interpret the results to mean:

- We have guildies new to the fights and are slow at starting dps or wasting time just standing around not actually doing dmg. This will probably resolve itself with more experience; or
- DPS are relaxing abit and taking it abit easy cos there are geared ppl in the group do the bulk of the dps. In which case I would say to DPS - lift your game.

Rather than looking at total dmg done, I would probably give more weight to % dps time, and then give consideration to gear/rotation as 2nd. That gives a better indiciation of who is trying and who is just in it for a free ride.

If everyone was on the ball and still only kara geared, I would say curator could be dropped on his first evocation and never reach the 2nd. I've seen it done.

But don't forget to factor in deaths when reviewing the %activity time. WH was the first one on the chains and got pwnt due to lack of heals on him :twisted:

i guess pvp gear aint doing so well for me, lack of attack power, was wearing 2 bits of pve gear hopfully i get more pve gear soon.
