Includes some of the new talents, spells and other info:

http://wotlk.wikidot.com/

One thing I tought was interesting was that resi would no longer affect you when you are not PVP flagged, lik instances. Tanks beware.

After looking at the new druid talents and spells.. looks like we're destined to be healers.

Priests can now cure poisons.

EDIT: coz I can't spell

Anyone else feel this game has gone (and is going further) to shit?

I'll be ending my wow career once wrath of the loser king company comes out.

NO U!

I think more than a few of us are a x-roads with WoW at the moment. I'll be hanging around till WotLK comes out and then review the love during the grind from 70-80.

I enjoy questing and instances, I just hope they put a bit more thought into the Northrend instances than they did with the Outland ones, most of which are incredibly boring. Give me SFK and BRD anyday.

I guess if it's now in Alpha we're still looking at it being at least 6 months away?

You know, I was just thinking that, after reviewing the new talents, I don't recognise the game anymore.

I hope hunter's get a buff or atleast something!

if not i think ill be finished with wow

WARHAMMER FTW!!

even tho its still in beta it looks like it will be alot more fun, more interactive is my liking

Drac

:Was going through the list..looks like warlocks get to relax even more,
Fel Armor(Rank 4) - "Surrounds the caster with fel energy, increasing spell damage by up to 180 and allows 30% of your mana and health regeneration to continue while casting."

they got ways of getting mana and health fairly easy now..

Regarding whorelocks...

Quote: Metamorphosis - "You transform into a Demon, with full health and mana. While in Demon Form, you gain Demonic abilities and your armor is increased to 360%, but your pet no longer is summoned."

Fel Synergy - Your Summoned Demons share an additional 5/10% of your Armor, Intellect and Stamina, and you have a 50/100% chance to heal your pet for 15% of the amount of damage done by you.

WTFudge??

They just play with the class skills to suit their mood at the time.

I have a mate currently playing AoC and he says its not bad... has (to be expected) balancing issues and bugs. So will wait to see how that pans out. Warrhammer as well maybe, but thats some time away.

Druids -

Hmm it'll be time to bring the moonkin raiding again, by the looks of things.
Lots of cool thing in there for moonkins. spell haste for party, nature dmg susceptability, more aoe, and true to form they give us a freaky unreliable knockback CC ... typical.

Preists -
So they become mana batteries as holy now ... heh, there goes the last reason to have a an spriest.

Rapture - "Causes your party members to gain mana equal to x/x/x/x/x% of the healing done by your Greater Heal, Flash Heal and Penance spells." [spell applies dummy aura - serverside script]

SS for tank ... without agro drop ... nice one
Guardian Spirit (51pt holy, instant, 3m cooldown) - "Calls upon a guardian spirit to heal and watch over the friendly target. The spirit heals the target for 624 every 2 sec, and also prevents the target from dying by sacrificing itself. Lasts 10 sec."

And now priests can slap keys like hunters can ... me play wow ... me smash random keys ... me good player ... overheals ftw!
Serendipity - "If your Greater Heal or Flash Heal spells heal the target for less than 50% of its intended effect, you have a 33/66/100% chance to be refunded the mana cost of the spell. This effect has a 10 second cooldown."

Looking at the feral talent tree on the site... looks like theyvre moved feral charge down a bit. Thats should slightly nerf resto drood pvp, or at least change things a bit. Although with the armor boost to Tree of Life (360% talented), wonder if theyre intending that restos PVP more in ToL form?

Moonkin is getting some nice loved definitely. Curious as to how Typhoon will work though.

If you don't enjoy yourself don't play. It's a game, nobody is forcing you to play. That goes for all the complaints about WoW as well, I really don't get it, why play if you are so miserable while playing ? Sure there are some annoying times and whatever, but overall I still enjoy the game, and when something becomes tedious I stop doing it, instead of forcing myself through it and complaining every step of the way.

Edit: upon revision that comes off sounding harsh. I don't mean to insult you cc just something I have found strange. No offense intended.

I highly suggest just doing different things and not taking any aspect all too seriously. If I get bored of BGs sometimes it's nice to start big world pvp wars, do some PVE, level an alt with a totally different play style, respec etc etc, you grind yourself down if you try and persist through things you're not enjoying, I find mixing it up helps me a lot, and the one time I found everything about wow boring, I took a 4 month break and then came back.

Cece won't admit to secretly loving the people of IV :P

The new stuff looks ok, but I don't see blizz really addressing many of the current pvp balance problems, which is a bit depressing in a sense for the keen pvp'ers. And some of the problems are scaling-based (such as the resil-to-stam ratio), so these might get worse at 80. And some of the talent point extensions don't contribute to balance either - for instance, the feral 51, looks *great*, but to a clothie, it just feels like a slap in the face. I'm sure it'll be good in pve, though, will probably have a similar effect as bw had for hunters. And the mage 51st fire talent - clearly will work well as a situational pvp talent, but isnt deep fire more for pve? maybe they have future ideas for the mage class... i just can't work out what they are atm.

Whilst i still enjoy the game, it's painful (as a pvper) to watch continuing problems get ignored by blizz. I take the good with the bad though - if I wanna feel godly, i'll hop onto my resto druid, if i wanna feel agreived i'll hop onto my mage - that's just the state of the game at the moment.

The Pve side of it is a different case though.

Raz, your point is very valid - and the point is I play this game because I do enjoy it. (mostly pvp)

However my problem with this game is how blizzard continually destroys the aspects of the game that I derive my enjoyment from - either by stupid design decisions, ignoring blatant problems or bugs or just total lack of communication with its player base.

When I put alot of effort into gearing up a toon, only to have its pvp viability destroyed because blizzard fails at balance - I refuse to just roll over and re-roll (most of the time) - however its just plain infuriating.

Case in Point:

When I first leveled my pally to 70 - I had every intention of making him a heal/buffbot with the purpose of pvping as a support toon. Several months and 3 arena seasons later, and blizzard has totally destroyed my pallys ability to compete competively as a healer - so I'm forced to go ret (which in itself, has a very niche market of pvp viability).

Hence now I'm playing a rogue - My pally still way outgears my rogue in every aspect, however my rogues pvp viability in lvl 60 greens almost matches my lvl 70 pvp epic geared pally. Why? Because blizzard has screwed PVP balance in this game beyond repair - and has blatantly refused to fix anything, citing that "WOTLK will fix everything".

I'm sorry, but buying an expansion to fix the problems that should be fixed now is just not going to happen.

Hence, when fail of the lich king comes out, I won't continue to play (as I won't enjoy it anymore).

And they should separate Arenas and BGs into their own game. Stop messing with PVE.

Although, to be fair, they can only achieve real balance if they just remove all classes and racials. Then this can be like a glorified Counterstrike.

Make the only distinguishing factors between players their gear, cash, name, and appearance.

Like a medieval/space Second Life, with PVP.

Then the PVErs can just do crafting professions, chat, and cyber.
