Nightbane DOWN!!!!!

After a 4 hr marathon (with a 10-15 minute break after curator which took about 2 hrs) we got to nightbane, and thanks to Zul's positioning we downed Nightbane on the 3rd attempt

Highlights:

- tree's uber HoTs (btw why did u try to run across during that last go on nightbane?)
- Zul and my non resto spec'ed healing. I think only 1 fully resto spec'ed person is required if you have over +1400 heal gear
- my stupid solo pull of an elite just after moroes (what was i thinking) Cece did something similar somewhere along the line too :p
- mostly caster gear drop with all the melee's around Sad

- vit was the only person i've seen so far to survive as little red riding hood (damn CloS)
- first time i've seen us 1 shot all bosses up to nightbane, with no wipes, and only a handful of deaths along the way
- and finally alec for his uber pulling skillz

I'll post the screen shots of nightbane down when i get back, but good job all. Definitely the fastest kara i've ever been on.

same again next week? Or shall we start Gruul's? I'm keen!

I'm trying to get back into more pvp'ing action - finally got the Glad helm after a full day of BGs, and I resocketed some gems to go stam instead of +healing. Having said that, i'll still help if you need a healer, and was rather impressed that ya'll seem to be doing better than fine without my tanking Smile

On nightbane, I knew that had picked up agro from the dragon from a badly timed HoT, so I ran to Alec but he still 2 shotted me

i remember seeing you run towards us, and i had this slow mo "noooooooo" happening....

I see this cow sprinting across the tower with a big fiery bone dragon behind him, and i fired off a heal, but didn't land in time Sad

At that stage nightbane was at like 8% or something, and Zul & Me were getting low on mana

Heck tree i reckon if you had a proper healing mace, you could solo heal kara :p

But yeah we've a few viable tanks now for nightbane - alec, tree, shawne, tyton, and bubble boy even. I actually found the prince fight more steady healing alec, since it was constant dmg, where as with the druid tanks i noticed big spike dmg or no dmg at all.....

Could it have been the constant HoTs mitigating the damage spikes? Or Alec not actively hitting Prince?

I did do a quick recheck of my healing power with the new pvp bits, and i'm up around 400 extra healing per tick (200 per second), at a loss of around 15mp5. After I get the pvp mace, I could very probably come close to solo'ing it, with a bit of help :p
