How the fark do you PVP as enhance?
I'm getting blown away / kited to death before i can even close on my target
Only way i can close is to mount up and charge the buggers. That or I hide behind the big scary warrior with the big 2hander, and hope to close the distance during the warrior's charge stun
Btw i've gone shamanistic rage over nature's swiftness. I still need to respec again out of resto though - shocks are awesome damage now with that 30% of AP thingie _________________ Need more sleeeep.....oh LF1M Shaman scholo....me me me!

Shamans need a buff.
But apart from that, Kaz just usually walks up to them and hits em. I see grounding totem and occasionally frost shock. If WF procs, and FS/ES crits, it's close to gg. But yeah, enchance are generally kitable. Hunters, Druids, Mages, Warlocks (since tremor still sucks), Elem Shammies, can do it. Kaz will eat Pallies (eventually), Rogues, Warriers.
Shammies (and warriors, but to an extent warriors have MS, hamstring and a fear) are the only ones without either a snare escape or CC/snare. Hunter's can trap, Druids shift/root, Mages blink/sheep/frostnova, Locks are locks, Rogues have CLoS/sap/blind, Pallies have BoF/bubble, Priests have dispel/fear. Hunter's could use a snare escape, but removal of deadzone has helped them here - you can no longer sit in the deadzone and pound em (also, BM is the ultimate snare escape), and Pallies could use some CC/snare of some sort. Shammies on the other hand, could use a general buff. |

well i never rly got into the arena type pvp, but i have heard that enhance shaman suck big time in arena, mainly cause we have no form of CC, and are easily kitable.
battle grounds are a different story. many a BG i have been up the top of the KB and DMG done list, if u have a nice healer to keep u alive, then u can do endless dmg. and seeing WF proc and crit for 2.5k a hit is pretty much GG to most clothies, throw in a Frost shock to stop them kiting and its GG. without a healer, i guess its suicide missions FTW. because u need to be on their ass to do dmg, u are the perfect target, so be prepared to also be ontop of the total deaths list
as for arena, i guess elemental is the way to go, or resto. 2 hander for sure in BG's , i just love the big numbers. |

Well i've had to respec back to ele for arena, but i'll come back to enhance once i've got my 10 games done
However I've found that I really had to pick my fights as enhancement. Sure i can charge into a general melee when its all chaotic, but in general say in a 2v2 situation or a 3v2 situation in a BG i've really had to pick the fights
e.g.
I'll ride away from the fight, to make it look like i'm running away, then loop back for the clothie. Most people dismiss you as a threat if you ride far enough away.... that's the only way i've been able to live in BG's and make decent kills _________________ Need more sleeeep.....oh LF1M Shaman scholo....me me me!
