Gatherer mods

i was just looking for a mod that will help me farm herbs for pots and flasks, and gatherer seems to be a good start. What i liked about it is that u can send your list of known herb/mine/treasure locations to any other player with the same mod, and they will be able to see where u have had success.

does anyone have a similar mod?? or can i get people to Download it so we can share all our farming info within the guild?? I know i have spent many an hour flying or riding thru different zones, hoping that i see a little yellow dot on my minimap!!! with this mod it should take out some of the guess work, and in time u can even build farming paths to take, it supposedly calculates a route for u and tells u how long it will take to complete the route on foot.

Gatherer is the shizzle! I've stopped using it in an attempt to deny that I actually do farm. Which is not working out well since I've already memorised the node locations anyway.

but when I was using it, I found it extremely handy. you can also download the Wowhead gatherer files which has all the nodes pre-populated.

hmm sounds interesting, i have had a look on wowhead and cant find the .lua file, or what ever it is called, anychance u could link it?? i also read that some people thought they were downloading the legit gatherer database, but managed to DL a key logger. anyway, i will keep looking for it.

edit: dw i think i have found it, it is on the official gatherer mod homepage!!! not on the wowhead page, well as faras i could see.

Tree, Blue and myself use gatherer. I mine mainly as I think Tree does as well but Blue is a mad farmer on his alts and my maps are covered in ore and herb nodes from his efforts.

It's quite a cool addon.

just thought i would follow up by saying that i installed gatherer and the database, and it seems like a real nice mod. with a little config u can set it up to track whatever u want.
I had a look on the map and found some nice spots to farm mana thistle and others. in about an hour of farming i got 40 dreaming glory, a bunch of felweed, 12 mana thistle, 20+nightmare vine, + a primal life, unfortunately not 1 fel lotus!!! i guess i was unlucky. but in all i wil never have to ask where i should go to farm which herbs. all i need now is an epic flyer to make farming faster!!! but that wont happen cause i CBF saving the gold.

i recommend anyone who is thinking of lvling a gathering prof, or rogues( it also tracks lock boxes) to get this mod.
