blah blah OP blah blah
Anyway I'm gonna suck it up and start rocking some proper Druid PVP specs instead of clinging on to some PVE talents to be able to run the occasional heroic/raid.
I've been reading up a lot and am considering the following 2 builds (I like to use the 'cookie cutter' builds, saves me doing the theorycrafting):
11/11/39

34/0/27 (Dreamstate/Restokin)

The nerds on the misc forums I've trolled to get these specs seem to support 11/11/39 for Druid/Hunter combos. Lets me provide some minor yet noticeable support with 2 DoTs.
I like the second spec because it will give me the ability to actually do SOME killing, in Arena/BGs World PVP. I will of course wear my resto gear with both specs.
Was thinking of using the former until i've built up a decent amount of +heal (so that I can start tolerating life without Swiftmend). In my PVP gear I'm currently only sitting on about 1373 +heal, 335 resi, and only a lowly 8800ish hp.
Btw my 2v2 partner is that nub Dracronic.
Any thoughts?

Restokin (aka moonkin in resto gear) does well with warlocks in 2v2, due to the magic debuff spam and mana drain (basically so many fkin debuffs that no one can dispel them all fast enough).
Dreamstate goes along way for upping your regen, but you may find yourself losing to burst teams if you encounter anything with an offensive dispel (purge/dispel) without swiftmend.
I personally find killing a decently geared and non brain dead resto druid with swiftmend nigh impossible in 2v2 battles (basically a fkin instant heal on a 15 sec CD)
IMO your best bet is Marks Hunter/Swiftmend Druid _________________ Cecepel - 70 Mage
Bubbleocece - 70 Pally
Cacapal - 70 rogue
All better geared than your mum

I do miss the mana efficiency that I have in PVE, but yes, Swiftmend is a toy thats hard to lose.
I'm also debating on whether to swap my existing trink

... for the Stamina. As I'm sub 9000 hp at the moment still.
I should have the S3 helm in 2 weeks, which will help a lot. Will put healing meta and put the gladiator's head chant (from SSO) on it. Can't wait. Also will have the Vindicator's healing ring soon. Hope to hit 10k hp. Once I get better gloves I'll put the healing chant on them too. |
