GTAIV is awesome! Definitely deserves the high review ratings its getting...
I got a headache for a lil while after starting it, coz I'm so used to sitting close to a Computer screen as opposed to lying around on a comfy couch with an Xbox controller in my hands...
And its good to play a game with a good, consistent storyline... |

GTA IV rocks.
Within the first 5 minutes, I had somehow managed to:
Push a hooker in front of a moving ambulance
Bail from a car at high speeds and hit a Mack truck (resulting in death)
Molotov Cocktail a passing police car which swerved and took out 10 pedestrians
Abused the slow motion cinematic camera numerous times while wiping out pedestrians.
This game needs it own thread imo. _________________ Cecepel - 70 Mage

| i just couldnt get excited about GTA. the hype really turned me off it. it sounds and looks real sweet, but i couldnt bring myself to pay $120 for a game. I just kept thinking about how much gold they must be raking in and i didnt want to contribute to the mass hysteria which GTA seemed to cause on release. besides, i havnt played GTA since the good old days, whn it was played from an overhead view, ahh that was a good game haha. |

Yet you've been playing WoW at $15 a month + the cost of the game + the cost of BC for how long???

| lol yea, i guess i am a bit of a hyppocryt cece, i have supported Blizzard for almost 3 years with monthly subs and xpac etc... :*( what i was getting at was the mass hysteria which GTA4 seemed to generate...and the fact that the game sold for $120 on release!!! thats a fair chunk of gold to pay for a game, seeing that i am trying to pay off my epic mount (new car), every copper counts. but the more i see of the game play and the screenshots, the more i wanna go out and buy it. I am weak!!! I am human!!! |
