Sweet I maght check it out, as the only tree I havent played with yet is the arcane tree. I've found myself pretty much resorting to scorch spam often.

My crit is much lower than yours though... approx 24% for fire spells. If I take up a similar spec to yours that should go up a little.

I'm also exploring a similar arcane hybrid (40/21/0) spec:

Apparently the beauty of this spec is Mind Mastery, for fresh 70s with low spell damage. However I lose the ability to get Blazing Speed, which I've found useful even in PVE, procs so often...

Yeh that build only leaves room for 1 point in the talent. If I feel rich I'll try both on the weekend. However 33/28 does leave me with some room to PVP, unlike the other.

hehe after last nite's effort, you really do need more stam for your suicidal AOE runs! That or iceblock earlier - i pity drac & Jez who had to heal your skinny butt!

Ok peoples who were aggro offenders last nite were:
- me (PVP spec + bad crit control)
- sham (dude quit with the Storm strike openers already)
- lex (nuff said)
- Razz (no working omen)
- Tiff (no early aggro issues but lost it during fights occasionally)

and that rounds off pretty much most of the DPS'ers on the run :p

its true we had no salvation, but still no reason to get sloppy. I'll be the first to pledge to aggro less!

In my defense.... umm.... yeah I need more stam and need to l2AOE. I think Its coz I'm getting excited using Blast Wave and Dragon's Breath when I AOE. But with my talents, Arcene Explosion is much less threat (40% arcane threat reduc vs 10% fire threat reduc), and I should do that instead. Last night i was Blast waving to open, then DB, followed by ye almighty AE spam.

Oh, and Blizz has to take Ice block off the GCD. Thats a damn long 1.5 seconds when I'm wanting to IB. lol

P.S. If i get time later I'll put up the WWS from last night.

But it doesn't do anything if you're within the GCD, yes/no? (eg, after hitting fireblast)

It wouldn't affect the GCD I don't think no, would only cancel a cast such as fireball and cast iceblock straight away

Yeah I tried that macro to see if it would help with my GCD, but it doesnt... have it still for getting rid of DoTs, though.

Sigh ill have a look into dropping some spell damage to get more stam. I do have some Rings with stam that I can use, with less damage on them. Just so I can survive getting smashed during the GCD in time for the IB...

I'm seriously finding it hard to find Stamina gear thats any good. The badge gear helps a little. Time to farm BGs Sad

OK I've got my shopping list planned out to get more stam whilst still upgrading my spell damage and hit.

Fused Nethergon Band (badge reward) +8 stam upgrade
Vindicator's Band of Dominance +31 stam upgrade
Vindicator's Silk Cuffs +14 stam upgrade
Merciless Gladiator's Endgame +27 stam upgrade

Thats a lot more stam for me, plus ill change my enchanting choices. 60 badges and 30k+ honour ftl though. Might respec Frost for a while to take some of the pain out of farming all that honour.

As U know I have all the spellfire tailoring stuff and the crafted hood and legs as well, they all have next to nothing for HP ! What I did was to fill the gaps with PVP gear then upgraded thoes items on badge items ... come to think of it the Only Kara item I wear is the sword so it can be done without Kara have a look at Este sometime and you'll see he's got nothen special at all in fact 5 items are 105 lv crafted and the balance is pretty much Badge or Rep items.
I hope to upgrade the crafted items and remove all my pvp junk piece by piece So I'll be Going for T4 stuff now. But thoes are all pipe dreams I haven't still to this day have a T4 item and I have done alot of Kara and 4 Gruuls. Your best bet mate is to grind heroics for badges and get Rep to get the Epics from Exalted. Unfortunaly there is no fast way unless you just grind Kara Gruul Mags & Heroics 24/7 Crying or Very sad

Don't belive what they tell you about 8k I have 7.2k -7.5k HP unbuffed now after all this time...I die lots as you know but thats not a HP thing thats a NOOB thing Haha.
HP Has Always been last on my list I have always gone for Damage and Cirt but make sure your spell hit is near max otherwise you get dam and crit nurf Evil or Very Mad

. U can Manage with just 6.3k HP Shocked

I did so far a long time but ... try not to get hit haha and always try to con the lock into using imp.

Thx Este. Yeh I've got Lexy on 7.4k hp unbuffed now. I die less than Majorfail! I had a perve on your mage after I dinged, to see what gear to aim for.

I completely avoided the spellfire set due to the lack of stamina, but the spellstrike stuff is great, as well as the "blasting" craftables". I was even wearing warlock 3.5 for a while for the stamina, but replaced it with the robes from H MGT. I got the 60 badge ring and the S2 shoulders, all helping with my stamina.

Not sure where to go now with gearing Lex, need to replace his offhand and wand, but there arent many drastic upgrades out there (at least, in the content I see on him).

Been spending lots more time on Beef now, but after I'm done getting a couple of pets and silly outfits for him, I might do the same on Lex.
