Anyone thinking of trying it out? The combat system sounds interesting, and I like the classes.

Not many reviews on the net, I have an ex-WoWer friend with a shit PC who seems to like it.

I'm going to read up more on how my 512MB 8500GT can handle it (so far, doesnt look like it will do well).

The FFA PVP servers sound interesting, but would probably be full of murderous asshats.

I'm certainly interested in having a stick beak but not sure if my rig can handle it and I have Vista as well. I have an 8600GT in mine with 512 which seems to be a real bottleneck given the rest of pc's spec (2.4ghz quad core, 3gb 800mhz ram).

The other issue is that I can't really afford 2 subs to 2 different MMO's, especially one that costs $100 up front. Wifey would shit her pants and chuck them at me if she knew i was even contemplating it.

Oh wellz.. If you have a look Beefy let me know as more than likely I'll pop on and have a look as well. TOPLESS FEMALE WARRIORS FTW!!!

WH.

RAIDING WILL BE MORE INTERESTING WITH HIGH RESOLUTION DIGITAL TOPLESS GIRLS IN YOUR PARTY

I came so close to buying it yesterday, until I read up more about the reqs. Might be a while before I have a looksie, methinks.

I dunno I expected Arnie to make an appearance....

I think warhammer online appealed to me more - the chaos video cut scene was blardy awesomesauce

Somehow Age of Conan makes me feel like I'm zooming in on a diablo game

AoC reminds me more of Morrowind or Oblivion - in terms of the more 'interactive' combat - both of which I lost a ridiculous amount of hours of my life playing.

Warhammer sounds like it would be damn good too, and there's some talk of real Oceanic servers. We'll see what happens. Hope the system reqs are more reasonable, but I doubt it...

I downloaded the free trial of Lord of the Rings Online last night. Which I'll have a look at over the next 14 or so days. Now what to roll I wonder, can't bring myself to roll an elf, a human is against the grain but a hobbit.. Hmmm..

Seeing as you're a bit of an ass bandit, Hobbit Burglar for sure...

I didnt know it had a free trial... might give it a whirl as well.

Then we can form a fellowship on the banks of the brandywine river. Joy.

You and me Beef, hobbits in arms fighting the good fight, then later at the Prancing Pony in Bree we can get cosy after drinking ample amounts of ale.

Free trial is for 14 days but it's an 8 gig download so be wary of your cap, it put my peak cap almost to the max (10 gig ftl).

For The Fellowship!! GHEY!!

Reading up on it, has some appeal (player housing and such). Will miss (only a little bit), the potential for World PVP.

Regardless it will be an interesting diversion, if just to check out what else is out there.
