Druids are a fun class to muck around with thanks to stealth/travel forms/cyclone/moonfire. Would definitely recommend levelling one.

Tbh I'm getting a little annoyed at WoW lately coz its becoming more of a chore. I'm finding that I need to be a healer/tank if i want any chance of running in a group without sitting queued up for ages or camping the LFG tool. In between having an 8 month old child and managing a team at work, I wouldnt mind having a little less responsibility when I play a video game. I could force the issue by speccing balance, but I am aware of their general lack of demand in most 5-man groups, and my Balance gear level is probably entry-level Kara at best (700 spell dam).

I'm trying out some alts, but none of them are as fun as my druid. Razz

Perhaps I should get over PVE achievements/progression (hardcore raiding is NOT an option, despite my relatively large amount of playtime), and just bite the PVP bullet. The constant pursuit of badges and random drop lewtz is getting old, and I've only been playing for a bit over a year.

Don't go moonkin for 5 man ... there is simply very little desire to have one unless they are geared and putting out crazy DPS

Don't go moonkin for PvP ... the cyclone lifebloom nerfs hurt moonkin far more than resto druids, even bliz says moonkin is not really viable pvp atm. Only go moonkin if you are becoming a BG junkie as they can still pwn from distance if they get the protection, you'll get obliterated in arena.

Don't go moonkin for raids if you are expecting drops ... there aren't any until Hyjal after you get those wonder gloves off Atttumen.

Be balance if you wanna be balance, there simply isnt a good reason to be a balance druid other than you wanna be different / like a challenge / are not loot focused / want the coolest dancing in the game.

There are far better specs for instancing, there are better specs for PvP, the only time a moonkin a really good is in a raid scenario when you have the protection of decent tanks and your buff is active on those who can use it (i.e. casters).

Trust me on this one ... i have a little knowledge in this space Confused
