Respeccing Tailoring

Hi Guys,

My mage is currently frost and a Shadowweave tailor. Probably going to stay that way, but in case I change my mind, what happens if I change tailoring specialty to Spellfire? Do I lose any tailoring skill, lose any existing cloth, pay any ridiculous prices?

I'm 99% sure that u just have to pay the trainer a certain big sum of gold. ( i think it was 150??) and then u will specialise in that particular cloth. U wont lose any cloth in your inv, and u wont lose any skills or patterns afaik. The only thing u will lose will be the set bonus each set gives u.
eg: U need to be shadcloth tailor to recieve the shadowmend set bonus, yet u can stil wear the frozen shadow weave set. etc....

150g is ezmode to raise with a few dailies. I'll see how I go. Spellfire is definitely attractive as it caters for 2 of my potential specs.

150g to unlearn the specialty.
20g to pick up the new one.
+ extra for the recipes.

You won't need to do any quests.

But yeah wtb non hunter epic mail armour patterns? As a young troll leveling, i thought - hey shamans can wear mail! Cool - if i go armour smithing I can make my own gear! Little did i know that leatherworkers make better mail than armoursmithers Sad
